Immunisation & Child Health
This involves a series of assessments made by the Doctor and Health Visitor in early childhood.
The baby clinic is run every Tuesday between 14.00 – 16.00.
The Doctor is available for Childhood immunisations.
Simply show up on a Tuesday to attend, providing your baby is in good health.

Cervical Smear
These are available to women of all ages but, when over 25 years, all women are sent for
on a regular basis.
If you are a woman over 25 years of age, feel free to check with the receptionist that you are on the list.

We recommend that all woman should have Cervical Smear every 5 years.

Smoking Cessation
Patients are given smoking cessation advice by the GP, and are offered an appointment
at the Smoking Cessation Clinic held within our Health Centre and run by the
Ulster Cancer Foundation.
Phone on 028 91 882176 to make an appointment.
Patients requesting medication or information on smoking cessation can make
an appointment to see a clinician where a program will be set up to meet the
needs of the individual patient.
Here they will be counselled and offered nicotine replacements were
appropriate. Their progress will be closely monitored for the next
8 weeks and extra counselling sessions will be available if needed.
The Local Pharmacists have been trained in Smoking Cessation and if doesn’t
suit the patient to attend our clinic they can see the Pharmacist at their convenience.

The Diabetic Clinic is run on Monday afternoons by our Sister Nurse Shirley Pyper.

Patients with Heart Disease/Stroke/Hypertension are sent for annually, with nurse Alison Donaldon.

Asthma clinics run every Tuesday afternoon between 14:00p.m. - 17:30p.m.
COPD clinics will be running on a monthly basis.
